Soohyun Lee and In-sun Kim found each other in 1986, during a summer camp in Germany. There was an instant connection between the two and nothing could stop them from being together. Leaving behind friends and family, the rebellious pair moved to Germany to start a new life. Now in their seventies, the youthful nature of their relationship is not lost; they engage in playful banter and have squabbles over how to correctly change the light bulb. Still heavily involved in activism, Soohyun and In-sun regularly attend protests championing queer rights, both in Seoul and Berlin. Charming, funny and with two adorable subjects at its heart, this observational documentary gives us a glimpse into what active retirement with your life partner could look like. Wema Mumma
